These Terms govern your use of Where's My Drive (the "Service"), operated by Edit Lab Tools ("we", "us"). These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Where's My Drive lets a team catalog external hard drives: scanning a drive's folder structure in your browser, storing that catalog on our servers, and finding it later by searching or scanning a printed QR code. Scanning a drive requires Chrome or Edge; browsing an already-scanned catalog works in any browser.

Accounts and teams

One email address creates one team account. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for what happens under your account, including team members you invite and the shared team PIN if you choose to set one.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (Solo, Studio, Studio Plus) start with a 14-day free trial. Billing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, our reseller of record — Paddle collects payment and is the merchant you'll see on your statement. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from your account, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to store or catalog illegal content, don't attempt to access another team's data, and don't try to brute-force or bypass the team PIN or QR-based access. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you catalog — drive names, folder and file listings, notes, and any logo you upload. We only store it to provide the Service back to you and your team.

Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Edit Lab Tools is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including data loss on the physical drives you catalog — Where's My Drive stores a catalog of your drives, not a backup of their contents.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.

This explains what Where's My Drive (operated by Edit Lab Tools, Ukraine) collects and why. Unlike some of our other tools, Where's My Drive is a cloud service — the whole point is that your catalog is reachable from any device, so (unlike a purely local app) this data does live on our servers.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), and your team/studio name.
• Drive catalog — whatever you choose to scan: drive names, folder and file names, sizes, and modified dates. File contents are never read or uploaded — only the folder/file listing.
• Team notes — any text your team adds to a drive.
• Team PIN — only a one-way hash of the PIN is stored; the PIN itself is never saved in a readable form.
• Team logo — an image you optionally upload to appear in the middle of your printed QR codes.
• Referral data — your referral code and, if someone signs up through it, their team's status (pending/qualified) — no payment details.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects your name, billing address, and card details — we never receive or store your card number.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Paddle (billing), and Resend (sending account emails like sign-up confirmation). None of them use your data for their own purposes.

Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember your theme preference and, briefly, a referral code if you arrived via one. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Email editlabtools@gmail.com to request deletion of your account and catalog — we'll action it within a reasonable time.

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — full access, nothing charged — so you can catalog a few real drives and confirm Where's My Drive fits how your team actually works before any money changes hands.

After you're charged

Once your trial converts to a paid subscription and you're billed, that charge is final except in the situations below. You can still cancel anytime to stop future renewals — cancelling doesn't refund the current period, but you keep access until it ends.

We will refund you if

• You were charged in error — duplicate charge, or billed after you'd already cancelled.
• The Service was unavailable for a significant part of a billing period due to an outage on our side.

We won't refund for

• Simply not using the account during a paid period — that's what the 14-day trial is for.
• Change of mind after the trial has ended and a charge has gone through.

To request a refund, email editlabtools@gmail.com with your account email and the reason — we read every request ourselves and reply within a few business days. Refunds are issued by Paddle, our merchant of record, back to your original payment method.
